- Sir, but isnt it that in order to install seat belt secured child seats it should also be equipped with Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) seatbelts? Nowadays most cars are specifically equipped with the Isofix on the 2nd row seats as standard, so seat belt secured child seat right now is obsolete, right? Are there still car companies right now equipping their second row seats with ALR?
