What is ISOfix?

The metal on metal contacts rattle when empty, unless you install the seats so tightly against the seat cushion. It takes so much sweat and time, you won't want to remove it ever again.

Isofix seats have a base for the mechanism. But if your child gets sick and vomits, it gets trapped in the base which is a nightmare to clean. Some parts are riveted and may never be fully dismantled.

Finally, Isofix has not been proven to be safer than a properly installed seatbelt childseat.
